Chapter 459: Five Dimensional Teleportation Statues
Chapter 459: Five Dimensional Teleportation Statues
In a dimension completely hidden from the prying eyes of every living creature, including the omnipotent Realm Rulers, a towering silver castle stood alone. It pierced into a clear, impossibly perfect blue sky, a monument of absolute isolation and ancient power.WHOOSH!
The serene fabric of space tore open violently. A pure white gateway appeared from the void, and Sunny stepped out, his boots touching the celestial ground.
"So this is the plan?" he asked, his voice calm, staring at the translucent blue system screen that materialized beside him.
{Yes, Master. My Creator is in there, waiting for you.}
Sunny nodded and began his walk toward the massive silver doors of the castle. He moved his gaze to the side, noticing ethereal, ghostly figures moving in disciplined patrols all over the courtyard. Each phantom was armed with a long, glowing silver sword. Even though they outnumbered him, not a single figure dared to get close to his imposing aura.
"What are these?"
{Spirit soldiers. Each possesses the strength of a True God. They are my Creator’s personal guards, bound to this dimension to protect him.}
Sunny nodded, understanding the sheer weight of power gathered in this one place. He stopped in front of the monolithic silver doors, pushed them open with a single hand, and walked inside the cavernous hall.
"You finally visited."
Sunny paused just past the threshold, his golden eyes scanning the room. He stared at the huge, pristine white bed resting in the center of the massive hall. Lying on it was a man who looked too old to even draw breath. His skin was translucent, his face deeply wrinkled like ancient parchment, and his body was frighteningly thin beneath the heavy blankets.
"Huh?" Sunny blinked, genuinely stunned by the fragile sight. He walked deeper inside the hall. Beside him, the blue system screen shattered into motes of light and reformed, taking on its flawless, human female appearance.
The old man smiled a weak, trembling smile and turned his cloudy eyes to Sunny.
"It seems you upgraded her to the maxed level... You truly fascinate me." The man coughed violently, his thin frame shaking, before forcing himself to sit upright, resting his bony back against the headboard.
"I am guessing you have questions," he said, staring intently at Sunny, his gaze surprisingly sharp despite his decaying body.
"I already know the answer to all questions in this world... except one." Sunny stepped forward, the distance closing between creator and creation.
"Why did you choose me? Out of everyone on Earth, why did I get a chance to be transmigrated into Grafton?" he asked, a question that had haunted him since his first day in this brutal universe.
"Nothing in particular... You weren’t the most unfortunate, or the most desperate. I actually chose you completely out of the blue... There was absolutely nothing special about you," the man answered truthfully, staring blankly at Sunny, stripping away any illusions of a grand, predestined fate.
"Thanks for being honest—"
"—Back then, you were nothing special, but now... You are far beyond that." The old man cut Sunny off, raising one shaky, liver-spotted finger and pointing it directly at Sunny’s chest.
"You are now a Realm Ruler—the youngest in history, and the current strongest. Tell me, Sunny. Why are you still after more power? Even if the Devil Ruler is resurrected, you already have the powers to face him."
Sunny raised his hand and slowly clenched his fist, feeling the hum of terrifying energy beneath his skin. "Killing the Devil Ruler is one of my goals, but even with my current strength, I have a deep feeling it won’t be that easy. I cannot afford to lose. So I need more power."
"More power? You already have 20 Ancient Beasts sealed within you! Isn’t that enough to shake the heavens?" the old man gasped, a mix of awe and fear in his raspy voice.
Sunny stared at him in silence for a long moment, then slowly bowed his head in deep respect. "I want to thank you for saving me from my mundane life on Earth, and bringing me to this new world, and also for giving me the System... Without your help, I wouldn’t have made it this far... You also helped, and gave me ten Ancient Bloodlines, which are the ten beasts out of the twenty I now possess within me... I truly thank you."
The old man didn’t smile. He narrowed his cloudy eyes at Sunny. "Tell me, Sunny... What is your ultimate plan in all this? What exactly do you want to achieve with the power of twenty gods?"
Sunny stood upright, his golden eyes burning with an unshakeable resolve. "I have looked through the lives of everyone in the Five Realms. There are still those suffering under tyranny, those with evil minds preying on the weak, and endless, pointless wars between races, nations, and empires... My ultimate goal is to end all this madness, and place the whole of the realms under one single flag: Eldoria’s flag," he said, his voice echoing with absolute authority.
"Hmm... You have a terrifyingly huge ambition, kid." The man closed his eyes, taking in a rattling breath, and reopened them.
"But you do know not all the Realm Rulers will agree to this peace. Because to achieve this, you must become the absolute Realm Ruler of all Five Realms... Their current owners won’t easily hand over their domains and their godhood to you. You should know by now that a Realm Ruler’s strength is directly drawn from the faith and life force of the people who reside in their realm... Meaning, the more realms under your control, the stronger you become... But you want to have absolute control of all realms. It won’t be an easy task; it will be a war of gods."
Sunny nodded in grim agreement. "I understand that... But the current Realm Rulers are just lazily overlooking their Realms from their thrones, watching their people kill themselves like animals for sport. I can’t stand so much senseless bloodshed," he said, his tone resolute.
The old man sighed, a sound like dry leaves in the wind. "Honestly, I thought you would just remain peacefully in your own realm, mind your business, and spend time with your family. But with all the immense powers you acquired, it made your spiritual connection to the realms far stronger and more empathetic than any of the other rulers." He fixed his intense gaze on Sunny.
"So what’s your actual plan? A Realm Ruler can easily, legally block you from entering his or her realm. You aren’t yet strong enough to bypass that fundamental cosmic law."
"That’s exactly why I brought the Five Dimensional Teleportation Statues with me."
"What?" The old man was completely dumbfounded, his jaw dropping in absolute shock.
